GajimaruDelete your Gajimaru account
You can request deletion even if you have uninstalled Gajimaru or cannot sign in.
Request deletion by email
Email hello@gajimaru.org with the subject “Gajimaru account deletion request” and your Gajimaru username. If you added a contact email to your account, send the request from that address where possible. Never send your password.
We may need to verify that the account belongs to you before acting on the request. We will explain any verification needed by email. If you did not add a contact email, we will agree a suitable ownership check before deleting the account; a username alone is not enough. We never ask you to email a password, payment information or identity document.
What is deleted
Deletion removes your account and associated cloud reading data, including shelves, reading positions, saved lines and account-linked community records.
Timing and retained information
We acknowledge requests within 2 business days and delete the account within 7 days after ownership is verified. Account deletion removes account-linked records from the active service. Resolved support and deletion-request emails are retained for 90 days, then deleted. Service providers may retain restricted operational logs or backup copies under their security and backup policies; these are not used to reactivate deleted accounts. See Supabase data-processing information.
Delete from the app
If you can sign in, open You, scroll to Settings and choose Delete account. Confirm only if you intend to permanently remove the account.
Local device data and external services
Cloud account deletion does not necessarily erase guest preferences or locally exported images. Use Android app-storage settings to clear local app data, and remove exported images separately. Open-Meteo may retain weather-request logs for up to 90 days under its policy.
